Elon, please reconsider Substack
I know this is extremely naive that you would see or read this, but I'll make it quick, as you are very busy.
You had every right to shun this platform when you first bought Twitter. It was a competitor.
However, things have changed. We are the perfect compliment to each other. Many of the same heavy hitting journalists have both X and Substack accounts.
We are at a critical time of deciphering information. There are only a few platforms left allowing free speech.
It is us against the world powers, literally. A merger doesn't need to happen, just allowing cross content would explode an already growing audience on both platforms.
Europe, as you know, is crumbling. Citizens there are being jailed for “mean tweets” while criminals go free.
There is a highway stretch of micro breweries in California that is a beer brewing empire. They decided to collaborate instead of competing against each other.
Just like Stone Brewing has slashed Budweiser, X and Substack would be the final nail in the coffin of a main stream media that has lied and manipulated us for many years.
