"Sometimes it’s people just want to get it done and over with"

This is true. Also not listening properly to cues to rest between sets, jumping ahead when they are not rested sufficiently to get it over with. They never remember from the last time :p.

Yeah that is a very familiar sentiment.

Their is a balance there. We need to do our best to educate on the "why". But that often takes repeated sessions and reinforcement for inexperienced exercisers to really grasp. And some really just want the exercise prescription to be a like a pill they can pop and fix their problems. Unfortunately, often the devil is in the detail.
